This original phrase came from the most iconic banner during the Hong Kong forbidden march (July 1st, 2020). The banner that brought tears rather than laughter, despite its deliberate used of colloquial Cantonese. Refraining from any overtly political message, the 5-meter long fabric simply read in gigantic characters: We just really fxxxing love Hong Kong (我哋真係好撚鍾意香港).
These words were all chanted over Hong Kong, on social media, on newspapers, and in every freedom loving household because it perfectly articulated the one common sentiment of each HongKonger who has ever taken to the streets, defying one of the world’s most terrifying regimes.
We have a clean version 我哋真係好鬼鍾意香港 (We just really really love Hong Kong) and the original version. Both versions come with a simple stand for you to place in. There are two holes on the top to hang for hanging on a wall.
